Wow.. this looks really great! It's almost like being back in Norway... Pin-point sharpness and still a soft impression makes this beautiful!

Really feels that way, Audrey. Beautiful contours and atmosphere. Though she ought to be there, there's no evidence of Maggie - I mean Nessie - breaking the surface. I wonder what iso equivalent was used; seems you might get a touch of noise should you ever decide to blast up a print. I might be interested in seeing this in mono too, I feel that would print a little better.

Don't know what Jim's on about - Macnaughtan ancestors "gathering" sheep indeed; I've heard it called many things but not gathering.

Time to strangle the cat, cheers.

To each and everyone for all your kind, helpful and encouraging comments.

This was my first 'real-none-city' trip to Scotland and I was in AWE of its beauty, especially the Glens.

This group of Glens was too high for 'Nessie'! To answer your questions, the ISO the camera was set on was 100 (believe it or not), and yes I noticed noise too but strangely the print that I ran off didn't show 'noise as on the screen. You'd think the other way round wouldn't you? I'll try to convert it to a B&W, but wonder if the image will come out too pale??

Thank you for stopping by, your visits and comments always bring a smile. Audrey
