alexshapiro 0 Posted July 1, 2003 A very nicely done and composed. The image shows the lady's beauty and grace very well. Thanks for sharing. Link to comment
niranjn 0 Posted July 1, 2003 Nice one Blagoy. I love the fall of the water and trickle below her hand. Love that her hair in front echoes the fall of the water. The perspective where her fingers are pointed right at the viewer is great as well. Nice tones and contrast etc etc. Some nits: (1) I'd prefer DOF covering her fingers as well, but unfortunately that would have sharpened the jacket or slowed down the exposure as well, which you probably didn't want. (2) it doesn't appear that she's drinking and looks a tad posed. If I were drinking from a tap like that, my face would be a little bit more parallel to the cupped hand so that I don't dribble water down my chin. But her face is at a very pleasing angle, so I am not REALLY complaining. Somehow, my eye goes straight to her ear after following the falling water down. Wonder why. Is it just a pretty ear, or is there a compositional technicality that makes my eye dart there? Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 30, 2003 I like this one a lot. I may be wrong but this looks like it was taken with an 85mm 1.8 lens perhaps? In any case, i like the balance between the light and dark areas and the diagonal line these create. Link to comment
