Hey Walter. I was wondering what photo would upset my Redtail Hawk in flight shot. This did it, and I see why! Holy hummingbird this is awesome. Amazing shot. What lens was this shot with?

I think this is the best hummingbird photograph I have ever seen; wonderful true colour, perfect focus and exposure and lovely soft background.  How anyone could rate this less than 7 is beyond me.

Walter this is an incredible shot. I love the crisp, clean detail, the colours, and the stop action. What lens did you use?

I can hardly believe the high level of sharpness you achieved. The tech details say you didn't use a flash. Is that correct? I would have thought in order to get that type of stop action you would have to use a flash. Stunning image, truly.

Wow.  The detail in the large size is just amazing and the lighting is really beautiful here.  Question though, exposure time 1/250?  How were you able to get this at such a slow shutter speed?
