raghuveermakala 0 Posted May 24, 2012 Was fortunate to view and photograph Sunday's Annular Solar Eclipse. Here's a photo montage of a few phases seen during the eclipse. Imagewas made using a 400mm telephoto lens with a 1.4x teleconverter plus asolar filter for the Sun. This is my first attempt at capturing a Solar eclipse and I could'vedone a better job of making sure all the phases were exposed to thesame tonality. Critiques/comments appreciated. Thanks for looking! Link to comment
gregverena 354 Posted May 24, 2012 very well done. Thanks for posting for those of us not in the right part of the world to have experienced this event. Link to comment
raul_camargo 0 Posted May 25, 2012 Nice image. I don't think the differences in tonality are big enough to take away from the quality. If you had not mentioned them I probably would not have noticed. If you photographed the entire cycle I'd like to see the last bit included, just to give it a sort of symmetry. Regardless, it's still good work and I appreciate you're posting it.Thanks,Raul Link to comment
wood 1 Posted May 25, 2012 Very nice sequence and I agree totally with Raul. And perhaps a couple of the intermediate ones could be omitted since they are very similar. Link to comment
