DRYING LAUNDRY

I wonder what non Latin people may think about this kind of houses

and streets? Thanks for your opinions.

Non-latinos will give you a good rating for the details you found and the excellent light.

I like it, tells a nice story with a bit of a mood, colors are interesting -- although the rating system isn't my fave, i'd give it a 5-6 in either category...

It may be laundry hanging out to dry, but the colors and composition remind me of paintings by Veronese.

It doesn't ring any bells with me, I'm afraid. The wasted space at the top left just competes with the messy composition below. The colour is interesting but not enough so to make me like the image.

I can say that for Russian drying laundry is not something astonishing. However, the houses are not so bright and cloth is not that tidy ;-) IMHO you may try to develop your idea further - play with color. This shot is technically good, but not as artistic as it could be.

The colors are wonderful, but the composition is off kilter: my eyes jump around the shot haphazardly with no places to rest.

Theme is very latin, or mediterranean or even oriental, that's true. But what is left out? America? IMHO, you're depicting here reality of daily life, struggles to be clean in spite of not having a drying machine... I prefer this kind of life to the cleanliness of mid Manhattan where a very tiny part of humankind dwells in conditions which are unreal (in terms of percentage versus the rest of the world)

So, dear friend Armindo, do go on posting real life scenes!

I try getting stuff like this and it just doesn't happen for me. Very subtle, yet alluring use of color. Good work Armindo.

This is a wonderfully pleasing image of an ordinary and common scene. Great exposure.

I'm sure there are not many photographers on this site who make something out of laundry exept for the washing machine :-). No problem for you... on the contrary, this -maybe- somewhat difficult composition kept my eye quite a time with pleasure. thanks for sharing -sorry my rating was not correct, I meant a 7 for originality--
