h._p. 2 Posted June 29, 2003 It's a bit messy with the white petals at the top right. As it's digital anyway, I'd be inclined to do something to soften the buds behind the central flower. It's not a bad shot in my opinion but it's not terribly good either. Link to comment

There is too much background which is distracting: the ladybug is in the photo, but doesn't suceed in being the main subject of the photo. If you could have zoomed more on the ladybug (maybe losing the left 1/3 and bottom 1/3 of the photo) you would have drawn more of the attention of the viewer on your subject. The narrow DOF (with blurring of the background) is good, so I think you are on the right way. Link to comment
