Good summer mood!

Lovely photo. While I like the dof in general the "figure in the background bothers me. I wish it was either cleare so it became an element in the story, or that it wasn't there because it attracts too much of my attention.

Very nice composition, and I can easily see a story here.  I have a different take than that of Charles:  I think the figure in the background is easily understood and well-presented in the scene.  The story that immediately came to my mind involved the young girl walking to the distant figure, perhaps to set off in a rowboat on this summer day.  If the figure had been more clear, it would have begun competing too much with the girl for the viewer's attention, and if the figure had been absent a key figure in the story would have been missing -- it's the destination for the girl.  I think you've balanced this scene very well in terms of composition as well as focused detail.
