dhauschild 27 Posted May 9, 2012 This Jamaican Iguana (Cyclura collei) is considered critically endangered. Even though this Iguana is over three feet long, he was nearly invisible as he remained motionless on a brown tree branch just a few feet away from me. Link to comment
lintrathen 15 Posted May 10, 2012 A great capture and presentation here, my friend. The larger view shows the clarity of the image and I particularly like the "foward spacing" to create movement.Well done Don........ great capture.Regards Link to comment
countrylapi 0 Posted May 11, 2012 I like the DOF and the leaves blurred up front create a 3rd dimention. Nice. Link to comment
dhauschild 27 Posted May 12, 2012 The Iguana, thanks for the comments. I was so excited with spotting a Jamaican Iguana that I started to pull in tighter on this lizard for a close up; however, I regained presence of mind and set up a proper shot before he slipped into the shadows. I constantly worry about DOF in the jungle and rain forests as there Is usually a low ambient light level so I use small f stops. I was very lucky to find this fellow while photographing birds in the jungle in the Dolphin Head mountains of Jamaica.Don Link to comment
