JohnWebster 3 Posted May 6, 2012 I rate this image a 6. I love this image for its feminine charm. The pose, expression, use of space are very good. To find this sort of light is not easy--soft rim light on her hair and shoulders, at the same time having enough light striking her face, requires attention to the lighting possibilities in nature. It does not hurt to have an assistant holding a reflector if nature is not ideal, but I don't detect the use of such here. The blue-magenta color-cast in the dress caused by sky light, and the slightly yellow-green color cast on her skin caused by reflection of light bouncing off the green trees is totally credible technically. I am uploading my adjusted version of your image, not because I think it is better, but to show you my skin color preference and remove the color-cast from the dress. Your original is fine the way it is without these adjustments. Link to comment
