Wow... Only just realising how much I need to learn.

Wouldn't have even looked twice at this on the ground. Can you learn to acquire a good eye?

 

Setting nothing like I would have expected, is that Fill flash?

NO way I could have take that. Well not yet anyway.

 

Love your work, it is essentially what I aspire to with respect to its striking composition, although the abstract stuff and the cormorants are more me than the beautiful people...

That said they are beautiful pictures in their own right and there is clearly a huge amount of work in setup, and I expect processing.

 

Not that I actually know enough to judge beyond admiration...

I appreciate the insightful comment Alistair, the pic was taken with natural light, no flash fill, you make an interesting point,....a friend once said : 'try to notice what you see', it took me a while to figure out what he meant, many thanks for the kind words my friend.
