Wow, I wish I were there now... It means that you did a good job. The only thing that disturbs me a little bit is a dark rock in the left part of the photo, but I know perfectly well that in many cases you don't have a chance to wait for the best light... :-)

Regards.

As the other posters have said......... this is a very scenic view and you have captured it well.

The darker side on the left doesn't really add anything to the image however there is definition present so I have just lightened it a fraction and straightened the horizon a little.

Hope you had your fishing rod with you.

Good capture...... well done

Regards

Grayham,

Once again I really appreciate your positive comment and advice.

The result of your edit makes the photo a better picture. One thing you have learned me is that I must take better care before posting a photo to photo.net.

Regards

Gert

Thank you for your kind response........ PN is a learning site (as we all know) and I do try, in my own humble way, to pass on useful bits of knowledge thay may help others. Whilst I am not always comfortable in "re-doing" someones image.... the written word is not always that easy to understand, whereas the "words and image" are.

I am my own worst critic.... and many of my images don't make it onto PN, sometimes for the tinyist error that would probably go unnoticed anyway.

I learn from PN everyday......... and I hope I am getting better.

Best regards, my friend.
