Under the evening sun.

Shoot under the evening sun with a 1.2 mega pixel digcam. Critique

requested. If you were me, how would you compose differently?, what

would you do differently? I am sort of going at instinct here. But,

not so sure about the result.

mhmm... not sure what you tried to achieve here... but since she's looking downward and to the left out of the frame, she seems lethargic or sad to me... the blah background is not bad for this... i just don't like that she's too dark in the backlight and lacks structure in the hair, even with flash fill and the colors are blah...

edit: i just looked at your equipment, and gave you one more point on originality for using a 1,2mpx cam ; )

The horizon looks pretty tilted to me, but more importantly I always think that for photos like these, eye contact is required.
