Great scene, good photo - just need to wait for the right light to make it a great photo - Look at Ansel Adams work for lots of examples of good light making the photo.

 

Would work well in B and W too.

Incredible shot! Beautiful colors! The only suggestion I have is that you change the title. This water looks anything but peaceful. The picture kind of conjures up some terrific waterfalls beyond the horizon.

Anyway - forget about the B&W version ... the "yellow" in "yellowstone" is very difficult to capture on film. I believe that you got THE perfect light!! Congrats!!

This is a beautiful shot. I have seen alot of pictures of Yellowstone, but this is the best one I have seen. Well done!
