good original capture of the "eye" - possibly a little too much skyline (top 1/4 perhaps imho)

I disagree. I think the slightly unconventional composition works well as the sky has just enough interest to carry it off.

I disagree with Julian. If I am not wrong, Abdul wanted to display a comparison of time, where in the modern giant wheel is there as well as in the silhouette, old church/architecture is visible. I tried to re-compose the image a bit and you can see the diff it makes by reducing the sky line Please let me know what do you feel?

I think I prefer with the original (without cropping), because it gaves the impression how big the London Eye is, almost touching the clouds.

example crop is too tight - agree it needs "big sky" for effect - my suggestion would be just below the dark clould top right - you can test the effect while scrolling down the page
