Jeff, nice and intersting image. My comment is actually on signature - on image like this it should be little bit more discreet, it takes the eye from the motive and, trust me, because of this I will never visit your dotcom.

I'm sorry you don't care for it.  The purpose of the watermark is less advertising (I don't actually sell anything-the site is more of a creative showplace) and more copyright protection. When I first saw my photos used elsewhere under the name of a different photog, it really was a horrible feeling.  After a few incidents, I changed tactics.  I am fully aware that a signature can be photoshopped out, but it is that one extra step that the would-be thief has to take.

My english is good but not perfect so I'm REALLY SORRY for what my comment was sound like. I'm aware that the people have a real problem with an unauthorised use of their work so they put their watermark on the image but sometimes (as in this case) the watermark is taking place of a main motive and it is look like an advertisement for the web page (therefore my note that I will not visit it).

Again, sorry for misunderstanding - this is a great photograph.

All the best.

Not a worry.  Watermarks can be a sensitive subject.  Soe people can't stand images with them, others know what it is like to be ripped off.  I'm somewhat new to using them and thus am still working on one that doesn't distract from the image.  Your comment merely punctuated the fact that I have some work to  do still.

Jeff:  I like the way the boat come up out of the gloom.  The ribs on the floor bed add dimension and character.  The printing does distract from the main picture and reduces its effectiveness a lot but I don't want to pile on and belabor the point.  Nice shot.  Alan.
