April Sunrise

Managed to catch the sun rising on a chilly April morning. Getting up

for work early in a morning sometimes has an advantage.

A gorgeous scene, well captured.

I am pleased that you did not stop down the lens so to introduce "diffraction effects" from the aperture blades making up the iris. The clean solar disk provides a much more realistic visual experience for this particular image.

I did take quite a few shots of this beautiful sunrise, some wide open but this came across as the most pleasing to me. This is slightly under exposed as I wanted a dramatic effect. Works for me!!
