This is my effort to turn a romantic image into more of a fantasy interpretation of their

attraction to each other.

my suggestion is ...don't try it again! sorry for being so straight...

Actually, the bride and groom had this in their album but for the wall print they selected the straight shot since the sunset image is how what they remember at the end of the day.  Having taken this shot many times, only with different couples, I was bored and so took this image down the path I did in photoshop.  It is almost a parody of the kinds of things photographers do to be artsy and different.  And yet, it got print-of-the-year in 2006 at our local PPA affiliate print competition beating out photographers far more talented than I.  Ultimately, it is all a matter of personal taste.  This image will trigger some people's gag reflex and others will worship me as a visual god!  All comments are welcome because they contribute to the dialogue of photography and help refine what individuals find artistic or important or just plain fun.

What a beautiful fairy tale image. I think it is gorgeous!

I'm the furthest thing from being a photoshop guy but this is well done. I can see why it would win.
