jimpete 0 Posted April 7, 2012 Nice title and beautiful symmetry of clouds and dormant hardwoods. Really cool! Link to comment
clayton_m 4 Posted April 7, 2012 Spectacular light and scenery. The mirror reflection adds much appeal, but I think it could be improved if not split perfectly in half by the horizon line. Best regards, Clayton Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted April 7, 2012 I like it! I think I would have split the image right in the middle composition wise. Cheers Link to comment
WJBrowning 0 Posted April 7, 2012 Jim a beautiful shot well composed and the exposure is spot on. I like the composition as it is, especially the increase in the height of the trees from left to right and vice-versa in the reflection. Love the colours and patterns. Well seen and executed, best wishes William. Link to comment
yanzhang 1 Posted April 8, 2012 This image is quite intrigued, very interesting! One concern is that the reflection has the same brightness as the sky, which is not so realistic. Link to comment
relies 0 Posted April 8, 2012 This actually is not a reflection from water. It is somewhat of a mind play but if you look at the trees they do not reflect themselves correctly. I just thoght it looked good this way. Thank you:) Link to comment
clayton_m 4 Posted April 8, 2012 Jim, I see what you mean. If I'd been more observant, I would have noticed this. With actual reflections it's unlikely to have the reflection area as bright as the sky. It's a creative manipulation though. Did you happen to also try it mirrored on the same side as if it were a reflection? Cheers, -Clayton Link to comment
relies 0 Posted April 8, 2012 Clayton - Thank you and I did give that a try and kind of liked the way it looked better this way. I was trying to make something that looked good in my brothers living room. Link to comment
