I love the fluidity of the curves and the clouds, which seem to complement each other. Very effective treatment in B/W, it gives a tweak that makes this picture a winner. Fine work, both in capture and editing.

Thank you for the critiques. I am very much a beginner (started a year and a half ago) and I am somewhat intimidated by this website and all the incredible artists that contribute to it.

I am very excited that the editors of National Geographic selected this photo as one of the 7 chosen for the week 2 selections in the 2012 photo contest. Sometimes I doubt myself and this was a very welcomed boost to my confidence.
