You have captured good definition in the plumage, supported by a lovely muted background.......... well done.

I would have loved to see an eye highlight...... just to lift the head a little.

I'm not sure that the square frame works here though, the Warbler seems a little "squashed" to me.

Good capture though................

I have to agree I am not very happy with the crop, I must of been thinking in the box.

 This guy was a most uncooperative subject.  I took several shots, none of them great.  Oh yes, he would turn his head, but never in a position for an atractive shot..

Hi Don,

 

I think it is great that you are able to identify birds when you travel.  I love this close up of the bird, great feather detail and it shows the coloring well.  Would like to see the eye a little brighter  and the top is a little tight, but don't know if you had more image above.  I understand you said the bird didn't cooperate.  You ended up with a great shot anyway!
