A wonderful portrait. I like everything about it, crop, expression, skin tones, lighting. Very good work.

I love this except for one thing: it doesn't look very sharp. If it were I'd give it 7/7.

nice portrait. I think I would prefer without the slight motion blur (i'm guessing this is on purpose), but still a fine portrait in my opinion.

I want to give this higher rates, too, but can't because of the blur.

 

Using the 105 lens works well to compress Sean's face, and your lighting is very nice, and models Sean's face very well. In fact, it's classic "rembrandt" lighting, and it's lighting suited for dashing looking blokes like sean and me who have faces on the thin side. So, if you selected this lighting then you chose well. If you just stumbled on it, then I suggest you study it hard so you can see it the next time. I like your crop, too, and the breathing space on the left.

 

Good Portrait, Bridget, just watch that sharpness. The average portrait is sharp. This has all the hallmarks of a very good, to excellent portrait....except....the blurr. No doubt you were melting at the intensity of his gaze.....

I agree on the blur/motion: don't ride the fence. Either add a lot more motion, or make it sharp. This one is in the middle. Nice portrait though.

I like this. A piercing look. Nice light and composition. I do wish his eyes were in sharp focus, though.

I find this shot to be the best of those you've posted of Sean. It's an intense expression, but yet not unfriendly. It's certainly fortunate that your eye and his face crossed paths.

Love It! He's hot, which definetly helps. I have to swim with crowd and say that the blur "bothers" me as well. I'm also not sure howq much I like the ear being included, maybe it would've looked a bit better with only his face...?

 

Anyway- nice portrait.

The slightly soft focus is used to good effect here. I like the tight composition, the window(?)light and his expression.

Well, there's a lot to like here and one thing to be concerned about. Having had a lot of discussions with you until now, I bet you can guess what I like and what I'm concerned with, so no need to regurgitate it here. My strong advice is to return and do another session with Sean. You've cracked open his soul with this shot and think you can explore it again with even more striking results. Despite the single concern, I think you have found your calling. But for the concern, this is a brilliant portrait.
