Leaving shadow

a good image,  crisp man.... leading us to shadow or from it?  Where has he come from, what is he leaving behind?? where is he going with head hung down???.....how often do we see photographs that don't "tell a story."  I think you have told a story.  I played in PS for my own fun, but i dont need to see his knees to know he has walked up stairs, so i would have cropped them back out and made the back wall horizontal.  You can use the brink line.  The handrail? Need it? On a personal note i like the contrast ration so you include the background steps, you could easily clamp it up and not show them and have an abyss that he has left and moving towards....if only he had his head up......Off to find something or leaving it...????
