AlainD 0 Posted March 22, 2012 Do you prefer the cropped version (see Lofoten (2) in the same folder)? Thanks for your feedback. Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted March 23, 2012 Both versions are impressive, but like Rafael,I also prefer this one which gives a better measure of the lake and a sense of framing while at the same time keeping that fantastic view on the background and the colorful reflection on the mirror-like surface.Bravo for two excellent images!Salutations-Laurent Link to comment
Daniel Álamo 0 Posted March 23, 2012 Very good picture and control of light. The cold colors give to it a more powerful value. I like many the tongue of land from the right going to the lake.On the other side, I don't like the dark area at the upper left corner though. I think that composition should be better framing all mountain reflection into water. Overall, well done. 6/7. Link to comment
JeffBryce 0 Posted March 23, 2012 They are both nice. This version feels more balanced to me. Link to comment
sadeghmiri 1 Posted September 7, 2013 Excellent work! When comparing these 2 versions, I like this one. Very nice and beautiful place. I visited this place 30 years ago and many nice memories from that time.Best regards/Sadegh Link to comment
john_nell 610 Posted November 24, 2013 I like this composition better than the other. Beautifull snow landscape with reflections.I visited the Lufoten Islands about 12 years ago before I owned a digital camera in summer & have just a few photos.I appreciate your comments about the Nordic light resulting in crisp contrasting colours. drhimages 0 Posted January 10, 2014 This is so pristine, Alain. I can feel the coldness. Beautiful soft hues, reflections and composition. Superb!!! Link to comment
