Interesting photo. It has that slightly unreal quality about it like some American paintings from the 30s and 40s. Especially with those long shadows in the foreground. I like the colours and the very graphic way they divide. Nice work!

I like the pastel softness of the sky. Has a certain vintage feel to it. If the mid-ground wasn't so completely in the shadows, it might have provided a bit more interest for the eye. But as long as you are looking at a large version of this image, the bushes in the foreground provide plenty to focus on. Thanks for sharing.

Nice mood to the image. Tankwa is always interesting but not always easy to capture the feeling of the place. Well done.  Personally I would have cropped the top a bit.

Yes, the photo was taken at Tankwa. I did consider cropping the sky,

but decided to leave as it is.

It is a challenge to capture the scale of this kind of landscape, and I think you got it in this one. Your decision to keep the sky was right. I agree with Otto and his comparison to painters of a certain era.
