toledo589ad 0 Posted March 24, 2012 Love this portrait; I think it does what a portrait is supposed to do and that is to capture the essence and personality of the subject. I love the fact that instead of looking vulnerable and afraid, this young lady's personality shines right through with strength and confidence. Link to comment
david w good 0 Posted March 24, 2012 Heather,Love the pose! Revealing but not overly so. Amy's expression is perfect for this sort of portrait. She captures the viewer and holds them wondering "what is she thinking?" The lighting from the sides is bright enough to illuminate the frame, yet remains soft as not to take away from the intimacy of the moment. While I would love to see just a "tiny bit more" light on her face, especially to pop the eyes just a bit, there really isn't anything wrong with what you have.Have you considered seeing what this would look like in B&W?Bravo to you and your beautiful model. Well done!~David Link to comment

starvy 7 Posted March 26, 2012 This really has a early colour photography feel to it although that early is more the early 70's. I like the composition. I like the feeling of washed out colours that adds a layer of intimacy between the subject and the lens, Link to comment
