Floating Market - Bangkok, 1999

Hi, I am a keen amateur photographer, I've never entered any

competitions or sold any photos etc etc. But I recently came across

Photo.net and decided to post a few pictures from my travels and seek

your opinions.

Any hints or comments you give me will be very much appreciated.

Good catch. Can I ask what lens was used?

The picture is interesting, but I have composition concerns. The person on the left is pushed against the left margin and the boat on the left has been cut, but the boat on the right has been completely included, resulting in a large space of water. Since you probably cannot return to the same place and take a wider picture, I suggest cropping the photo tighter.

The concept is fantastic, a really nice take on an otherwise clichéd shot. The composition's a shame, like has already been said, but I'm in love with the fact that they're passing in opposite directions. Reminds me of that phrase "like ships in the night".
