Ron,

"Near perfection is hard to critique!"

The lighting, DOF & details are excellent! As is the interesting composition.

I do have a question though, . . . Is this background (sky) natural or cloned in?

I'm not a "pixel peeper" and put "my value" on the photograph as a whole! I'm trying to learn more of the post processing techniques that can really improve the overall photograph, and I'm thinking the ability to alter and improve the backgrounds would certainly make for a higher "keeper" rate. At least in many of my own images.

I have a few shots where I have shot 90 degrees from the Sun, resulting in a vivid blue sky and has been mistaken many times in the comments by other's as "not a natural background," although it is!

This is a wonderful photograph, and going as another favorite!

Best & Warmest Regards,

Jim j.

Well working comp, and lovely glow on the cheetas.

However, on the back all the way from top to bottom on the right one, there is an artificial look. Seems like it doesnt blend in with the background. I wonder if this would be the result of a severe crop, (the sky look pixelated) or are there some cloning involved here?

Regards!

Thank you for your Crit.the Sky BG is natrual, just cropped into close up and slightly darkened as on the actual evening when I photographed them.

I never considered changing the BG.Too complicated.Regards Ron
