Alpine Blue Poppy

Great flowers this month at Longwood Gardens.

Nice shot Tom. Good focus and color. I really like the way the light plays on the flower. Longwood Gardens? I would probably crop it so it wasn't so centered, maybe lose some off the right. - Charles

This is a beautiful capture Tom. Beautiful use of natural light, excellent focus, and the shade of blue reminds me of a soft periwinkle. I've not seen an Alpine Blue up here in Canada, but I am sure they exist. I checked out the Website for Longwood Gardens and it looks like a fabulous place to visit for so many reasons!

It sure would be a great place to escape Winter. I know I would spend as much time as I could if I lived near there. Lovely capture Tom. Thankyou for sharing, and mentioning Longwood.
