bridget_hunt 0 Posted June 19, 2003 As suggested I have cropped the photo and I think it looks much better. Link to comment
michael_brown6 0 Posted June 19, 2003 Bridget, much better than the first one. The lonely guy gives the shot the perspective it deserves. I like how the countour of the rocks against the sky almost mirrors the countour of the rocks with the water. Got to love Italy!!! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 19, 2003 Indeed you and Michael are quite right. The loss of the plain blue of the sky is really no loss at all. Now the image draws the viewer in to look and the contours of the rocks and the lovely blue of the water. There's wonderful balance to the rocks and the water, offset by the nice interplay in the "intermediate" band where the rocks and water intersect and interplay. Very nicely done. Link to comment
dougityb 0 Posted June 19, 2003 Oh Bridget! Go see this page, especially the comment by the one and only Phil Morris. Good stuff, considering he's a Brit. The photograph is by David Tan and is very similar to this one. Here's the link: English bloke makes good. Link to comment
karen_siebert 0 Posted July 1, 2003 Beautiful image. Love the blues. It makes me wish I were there. Nicely composed and well cropped. Good job. Link to comment
davidroossien 0 Posted September 17, 2003 I like the fact that I had to search to find the person. Once I did, it gave the image depth and something that makes this photo special. Link to comment
