Boring Staring Contest... Again

I think I have a knack for boring seagulls. A few years ago, a gull and I

stared each other down for about twenty minutes while I was hoping to get

a freeze shot of it taking flight. Instead, it yawned at me. Today, I was

attempting the same feat, a mid-takeoff photo. Same thing happened -- the

darn gull foiled my plans and got bored. So now I have two yawning seagull

photos.

But the resluting picture is not boring at all. Nice shot, colors, and razorsharp.

Thanks all for the comments.  I also realize I phrased my description poorly.  I don't think that seagulls or the photos are boring, but rather the gulls find me boring.

Gareth, I actually have that shot, too.  The gull moved his head so he was staring right at me with his mouth wide open.  It's actually kind of creepy!

Brilliant Stephen, I have seen plenty images of gulls but nothing like this.
