With this image up for critique, I have (again) wandered through your "birds" folder (all 188 of them-smiles) because this one hasn't given me the same "vibe" as so many of your other images have.

For me, the majesty of an Eagle is in it's awesome plumage of golden browns..... in it's fierce hooked beak of yellow/orange..... in it's frightfully alert eyes.

The presentation here doesn't give me those attributes for which I look for in an Eagle.

Without a backgound story or something....... I've missed the "vibe".

An interesting pose from this magnificent bird. Nice shot.

This image could be enhanced in many ways, to bring out a variety of subtle details not readily apparent in this display. However, I choose not to post my personal preferences of what I have on my monitor after applying some imaging processing.
