Frost

a very strong composition, with dynamic lighting and a bit of editing of the darker parts (I only saw that after looking at the the photo for more than 20 seconds). I like the way all of the components of this picture seem pointy and harsh, very suitable for the theme. Kind regards, Vincent

Hi Vincent, Yep. I edited the S-curve a bit on this one. This was an iPhone shot! One really cold late Fall morning I went outside to see some friends off - who had stayed a few nights with us. There was a really amazing hoar frost. I could not run inside & get my decent camera gear, but went for the iPhone shot instead. The cameras in those phones never cease to amaze me - they can be excellent for macro shots... -Aina
