Rialto

A strong noon day sun gave this classic view from Ponte Rialto in Venice

harsh light and deep shadows. However, the composition was not too bad

so I thought it worth an attempt to model the light and try romanticizing the

scene. Comments and critique welcome.

The blurring of the upper two thirds of this photo give it an "Old Master" feel--a nice contrast with the more defined area of the two gentleman having a conversation in the foreground--good job!
