Wayne Sadler 738 Posted February 20, 2012 A strong noon day sun gave this classic view from Ponte Rialto in Venice harsh light and deep shadows. However, the composition was not too bad so I thought it worth an attempt to model the light and try romanticizing the scene. Comments and critique welcome. Link to comment

bg1 0 Posted February 22, 2012 The blurring of the upper two thirds of this photo give it an "Old Master" feel--a nice contrast with the more defined area of the two gentleman having a conversation in the foreground--good job! Link to comment
Wayne Sadler 738 Posted February 22, 2012 Thanks, Becky. Spot on with what I was trying to do. I also experimented with restricting the color pallet. Link to comment
