Technically, the best settings for the zoom position were used.

Due to a very nice staring image, the post processing effects elevates this to a wonderful artistic work.

Lovely results obtained in this composition. If the image used was not as good as this, I think your results would have been very different. But fortunately the horse is well placed within the image, and the effect used is very pleasanat, not overdone.
