Palais Royal

Each reflection tells a different story. Phenomenal if this is not a composite created in photoshop. Still very good if it is.

certainly interesting... top idea and good colors too...

the only thing that bugs me, is the strange grey haze over the balls...

The purpose is to visulize differents scenes in each sphere.

I would expect to see the camera repeated in each sphere and each scene be more similar. I'm also curious why the two front balls are toned and the others are not. Can't read the scale, but don't see that as a weakness.

 

Tech details please.

Original are spheres in Palais Royal in Paris. The pic is repeated 2 times. 1 B&W with strong contrast effet and the other one sepia colored an satured. The 1st one on top of the second one with a 60% opacity + over saturation for the 2 first spheres.

 

I love the effect of blending that gives this a sense of surrealism. Great work...

I gave this photo a 4 on aesthetics b/c the glow around the edges really makes this look cluttered & messy. also, I'd lessen the photoshoping of the background. this photo would be awesome in a more simplified and sharper presentation. the reflections are beautiful, but the rest of the photo stands in stark contrast to the smooth, glassy reflections of the spheres.

I have tried several times to photograph this sculpture and have found it a very difficult subject. Nice job!
