Christal1664882414 0 Posted February 13, 2012 What an odd building, but I think it makes a wonderful photograph. I don't think I've ever seen a building that had such a random placement of windows.....and different colored frames to the windows as well. It's an interesting image, but a rather drab color, so the perk of red on the child's jacket is the perfect touch. Good eye to identify this for the wonderful image it is! (If this were mine I'd probably play with the idea of a slight crop to the left side, although I'm not sure I would like it better). Link to comment
aarkp 2 Posted February 14, 2012 well seen indeed! the random individualism of the windows and other structural elements of the building facade gives a lot of character to the composition... and i think you chose a good position to work from... the presence of the child in red is a welcome bonus Link to comment
frigo 4,155 Posted February 14, 2012 You have cleverly used the lone child dressed in red and perfectly centered in the entrance to create an excellent image from an otherwise very ordinary setting.Bravo for having that creative eye!I wonder if your title SAFE refers to the child being out of the building which shows some serious signs of fatigue with the ugly vertical crack and the multiple surface patches....just my engineering background being activated.Meilleures salutations-Laurent Link to comment
kallol 1 Posted February 14, 2012 excellent image, Dariusz...very very nicely composed...wonderful repetitive forms of windows and the child in contrasty red colors just adds the real charm to this image...my best Link to comment
drorbaldinger 0 Posted February 15, 2012 i have a strong feel that the building's windows, random pattern is all "made up".i can not see where the "floor line" would be. windows would intersect the floors and last time i checked, makes no sense and no architect in the right mind would draw.fantasy is ok as long it is obviously one.christal, you'll never indeed see a building like that. Christal1664882414 0 Posted February 15, 2012 If it is 'made up' as you think, then Dariusz did a remarkable job at compositing this image. Your architect eye would definitely know, so I hope we'll hear from Dariusz as to how he created this image. Thanks for your input. Link to comment
drorbaldinger 0 Posted February 15, 2012 i apologize for my poor writing, i should have re-read my text, but i stand by my assertion. not only that i cannot see where the floor line would be, i cannot see where the columns would be. it will be interesting to hear form dariusz. Link to comment
gunnar1664882369 1 Posted March 19, 2012 What an interesting collection of windows:-). Is it real or is it fabricated? Link to comment
dariusz klimczak 0 Posted April 2, 2012 Thank You folks :) Of course, it's a montage. Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted February 19, 2013 I can't believe that after even a cursory look at your portfolio people would think this was a real building. Of course it's a montage but one put together with great skill and to great effect. You are the best I have seen working in this medium. Link to comment
