jim_air 0 Posted February 12, 2012 That this image is undoubtedly funny might tend to mask the real skill involved. The goat central is just right. The lighting and the moment great ! Love the textures, the tones and the black inside. Thanks for sharing. Hope he is not just a scapegoat ! ;-)Jim Link to comment

LenMarriott 9 Posted March 2, 2012 A notable diversion from your usual portrait offerings. What is it about animal faces that we find humorous? An echo of ourselves perhaps? Or do they find our faces to be just as funny? I like the way you've framed this one with the board on the bottom and wall on one side with the black negative space on top & the other side. Excellent choice to present in B&W. Focus is properly on the eyes with sufficient DOF to render all important features from the nose to the eyes in sharp focus. Not being experienced in goat herding, I'm wondering what the protrusions on either side are? (not the ears) I anxiously await your explanation which will undoubtedly expand my horizons. Unless, of course, you are as much of a city boy as I am. :-) Best, LM. Link to comment
