Village Painting

Pierre Dumas

The picture of the environment was taken long time ago and I'm not sure with what camera, it doesn't matter after all for a heavy filter was applied to it anyway! The woman picture was taken with the Sony with 2X tele convertor!

Pierre,

Excellent work - very natural scene, very economically believable.... old times come back around once more - nature cleaning the world... what is she carrying?  It looks like an old gas can but there is no vehicle I can see...  It makes you wonder where she is going and why... I find myself searching the scene to determine her path.... but there are so many paths.....

Thanks for sharing!  Excellent technique and scene... I agree ...  "Dumas" the fantastic painter of Photoshop...  Congrats~!

Worthy of the finest art galleries!  Beautiful effect, and I think adding the woman takes a lovely setting and turns it into a story line.  Nice work!

Bonjour Pierre,

Your blending of the colours of the scene and that of the woman is very attractive, as is the overall tonality. The main subject occupies the Golden point of composition. If I was to suggest anything in terms of a critique, albeit a very very small one, it might be to slightly blur the woman. Great idea. Best regards.

Phheeeew! Difficult to choose from your portfolio, as you have really great images. I chose this one to send you my regards, and to tell you how pleasing I find this composition. It is like taken out of a fairy tale. A unique amalgamation of sharpness, textures colors and shades. Great as always. Best regards.

I can pretty much look at your portfolios all day long, my stupid work gets in the way, I have to make a living.

Great stuff my friend, I like the painterly application used in this post. I want to jump out of where I am at now and join the old woman for a walk down Dumasville

Hey, Tony!

I don't know how I missed this comment of yours!

Ten years ago my head was bounced from the asphalt and then I said to myself: I will never work that stupid work again and it happened so! From then on I only worked what I wanted, my artwork!

Cheers to that!
