Lighting SUCCESS

I am truly excited about my new thought (shooting through just the

white side of an umbrella). Don't know why I didn't think of it

before - does it seem as good to you as it does for me??

Whatever you did looks great to me, lovely lighting, love the composition.

Low and single-sourced light accentuates the features of the model's face and body, giving a dramatic look. I like the tight crop where the shadow from the neck vein and clavicle, as well as the brassiere straps are very prominent. Poster on the background is questionable though. Regards.

lighting is terrific. What exactly do you mean "shooting through" the white side of the softbox... God knows i'd like to try it!

Jeff, Thanks for the comment. The umbrellas have 2 layers, black on the outside - white on the inside. Rather than use them to bounce light, I just took the Black layer off and light directly through the white of the umbrella. Works like a charm - so far. I have many more uploads coming soon - I am very pleased with the lighting on all.

Great composition, feel of motion, and location, would it look better a bit lighter though? (could be my monitor)
