My dogs, Fred (L) and Jett ® love to visit the dog park. What a

great opportunity to practice my action shots. But I neglected to use

a 400 ISO. I focused on Jett and sharpened the image. How did I

do?

Hi Janice,

I like the result here. great perspective.

You could have used ISO 400 for better stop action, but the 1/125 second was just enough (at ISO 200) to do the job. The fact that you used a 55mm lens setting did not require any faster shutter speed setting either.

Best Regards,  Mike

Its a beautiful photo, allthough i think it would have better to have focussed on Fred, the dog on the left.....I always use a high iso when i do action-shots,

besides of that, its very nice. Its not that important how the photo is technically, as long as you like it. Thanks so much for your comment, sorry for the late reply, i havent been much here on Photo.net

Best regards, Ellen

Thank you both for your comments. I agree with you about the focus, Ellen. And I appreciate both your comments about increasing the ISO. Thank you so much.
