and i am glad you have included those background ones in the photo too. some people may say that this photo does not have any point or interest etc or point of interest. personally i like the things the way they are. can ahve better framing or more artistic etc. but i like this shot because it is yet casual looking snapshot but at the same time it has greta abstract side too but abstarct side is way stronger i can tell..

Michael, I like this photo. I agree with plec about the background pilings - they kind of float above the foreground like a line of braille and make the image a bit more curious. A facinating image. Are the colors accurate? They are very pretty.

Thanks Reed, Thanks Plec,

Are the colors accurate? Yes, the only adjustments I performed on it were for levels on the individual R,G and B channels. There were no Hue adjustments. The green is caused by moss, the yellowish tint, I guess, is the real color of the wood, the dark brown, of course, is the wet part, the whitish tip seems to have rotted. This is the ONLY time I've seen this pier in this color and I have been passing this way for the past 2 years :) I guess the right conditions were just present at the time. Thanks again guys.

the only problem i see here is that dirty muddy look in the front side of water.i think if you get rid of gree little bit down there that would solve the issue. as i said personally i like the shot as it is.but you may try to make blue, more blue.darker blue. just try
