Zion Temple of Sinawava Fall Color

During my last Zion workshop I had a student named Marc curiously asking what I was looking at in the parking area at the Temple of Sinawava.  He watched me move around my camera here and there until I found something I really liked.  I said even at high noon you can capture great light with all the cottonwoods catching the backlight of sun.

While processing I wanted to keep the scene natural to a certain degree and aimed at not creating to much of a digital creation.  Sometimes images can have a feel of cartoon or video game if you know what I mean.... .   Can certainly make you think has it been overdone. 

I've got no quarrels with the fantasy type of work.  You can still achieve a processed image with a natural feel.
