gordon_rech 0 Posted June 12, 2003 the line of the rails leading to look deeper into the mist makes you want more Link to comment
wenger 0 Posted June 12, 2003 What a nice find and capture. One that many of us would dismiss as there being nothing there to shoot. The composition to me seems very good and I would not recommend a further crop. It gives the appearance that you had to go wading to get this shot. As was said previously, excellent eye. paul_schamberger 0 Posted June 13, 2003 A nice clean and effective composion. The mist and the undisturbed water are very soothing. The gradual and subtal tonal ranges from the darkest water the the brightest sky are lovely. Link to comment
rich_evans 0 Posted June 13, 2003 Peter - I just love the 'fade-away' type of shots. This is nicely done, leads the eye into a great unknown region - I want to know what's out there. ;-) --Rich Link to comment
artemis 0 Posted June 13, 2003 Interesting. The wall seems to be floating in mid-air because the horizon has been obscured by the mist. Very ethereal. I wish there was a more interesting foreground, but in these circumstances, you did really well. Link to comment

Guest Guest Posted June 14, 2003 Nice suspended in the air feeling. Very cool! Peter, the lakes you find are always perfectly calm with no animals such as ducks to disturb the peace. I envy you. :-) Link to comment
michael_farhood 0 Posted June 14, 2003 This is awesome, I love how the reflections and the railing lead into a mysterious space. Link to comment
mudshark 0 Posted July 21, 2003 While I like the simplicity of the shot it disturbs me that once you lead me into it, there is nothing for me to see. Also,if feels unbalanced. While that isn't always a bad thing, when combined with a lack of focal point it makes it hurts the photo. I do like the tonal range and the fact you've been able to hold detail in the walls reflection. Link to comment
