Winter Shapes

I think it is a wonderful photo, whereby, what attracts me much more than the shapes are the winter colours! It is also the aspect of the photo that I find slightly out of place. There is the beautiful, pristine white in the bottom left, the soft amber tones of the grass, the turquoise of the water showing through the ice and then these two massive black holes. I would have been even more enchanted without them. Or if the composition had been such so that they are more in the top right, creating a direct contrast to the bottom left? (Maybe that would have been too "regular", I am not sure).

Still, it is a lovely winter picture far removed from all the usual standard sort of photos. Well done!!!
