Nice shot and composition. Not sure the texturing adds a lot but it is okay. Hope you have had a great beginning to the new year. - Charles

I can understand where you get the 'far east feel'. When I think of it, years ago, I think I had some Oriental Style wallpaper that had a flower on it similar to this, and with colours in the moss greens and ivories. many thanks for your very kind remarks,

Most sincerely, Gail

An excellent image Gail! Love the artistic texture work you did in post! Lovely work!

ps I see Ray's back in Real Estate again. Just reading a Canmore paper and saw him in there. Hope things are well with you!

All the best,
Neil

Thankyou for dropping by Neil and for that very 'encouraging' critique. I always enjoy when you 'enjoy' my work, so different from your own. Actually Ray never really left Real Estate, but 'pickings got very slim' in Canmore/Banff the last few years. He was still with Remax Alpine in Canmore but did not usually have many listings, so he spent much of last year finishing off his house in Canmore.

Luckily for him it sold for over a million (beautiful home) and things are picking up from what I hear. He spends a lot of the time in the winter Skiing.

Things are going along fine, usual ongoing 'Mother worries', Shauna has a good job, but not the means to be 'where she and the children need to be'. Perhaps this year will be her year to start to 'live again'. I truly hope so.

I need to check your site to see if you have any more postings of your beautiful daughter????? The last Portraits which were your first 'real' Studio type Portraits were beautiful!!!! I'll try to get over and visit shortly.

Kindest regards for your visit and also your interest and concern,

Most sincerely, Gail
