The Golden Gate Bridge 1979

The rain subsided just long enough. I had been carry my Nikkormat FT2

under my coat like a newborn puppy. There it was, the Golden Gate

Bridge. I had seen it dozens of times in pictures and films but never like

this, because this time, I was there. I only framed one shot from this

location. Back then I hadn't even heard the word 'bracket'. I think the

Nikkormat's meter served me well that day, and many days for years to

come.
