I think perhaps he's blending in too much with the picture in the background.  Otherwise, the light is pretty good.  I'm not particularly crazy about the pose, because it may be a bit of a cliche when it comes to cigars.

Thanks for the feedback.  In defense of the soft focus, considering it was handheld at 1/10 and f1.8 at 5 am on new years by a very drunk me ;-)
