Ice Rower

This is incredibly beautiful.  The winter branches are so prominent, and the kayaker is made so visible because of the light on the water's surface.  I like the photograph in part because I can relate to this experience and get so much personal enjoyment from it.  A bit of "adversity" (cold weather, increased likelihood of storms, colder water, shorter days) can enhance experiences like this, and that makes the photograph more appealing to me.
