scott_shy 0 Posted April 20, 2001 I really love this picture. I love shots that involve mood and emotion, and I think this photo evokes both. Scott Shy Link to comment

israel_capote 0 Posted April 26, 2001 I can almost smell the unique aroma of the forest, the light rays breaking through and bathing the area. Its a great photo that really takes the viewer right there. I think what I like most are the light rays splitting through the tree in the center. Link to comment
gordonr 0 Posted April 26, 2001 Good capture of the rays (takes a lot of luck and patience!) Here's my version from the Southern Hemisphere http://capetownskies.com/0547/13_rays_fog_trees_rm_crit.jpg Link to comment
bluetree images 0 Posted July 2, 2001 People seem to like this even though I feel it is cliche. What is different about it? Link to comment
james___ 0 Posted July 2, 2001 I think the idea here is great. But the composition just doesn't stir me much. The sun rays are very striking but this grouping of trees leave me wanting something else. The printing could be a lot better too. James Link to comment
peterj 0 Posted July 2, 2001 This evokes mysticism and fantasy, you almost can climb the fog hanging in the air. Great shot... Link to comment
zackariah_cole 0 Posted July 2, 2001 It's breathtaking. Definately one of those photos where I would have just loved to have been there myself. I love that the light rays are uneven, in that they extend farther down to the left. It's very calming and has an almost spiritual significance. Beautiful! Good work. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted July 2, 2001 Hey, if people want to buy it, let them. I don't see much harm in that. But you're right it is a cliche image and you are aware of it. You obviously have the technique down well so make more pics and sell them. Link to comment
dbmiller 0 Posted July 4, 2001 A. I agree it is cliche-- doesn't make it bad by any means, especially since... B. Stuff like this will always sell. It's very pretty. Link to comment
isaac sibson 0 Posted September 17, 2001 The redwoods and mist are very indicative of the northern california coast. I have a shot taken a little later, with the sun higher in the sky in a similar location. http://www.photo.net/photodb/photo?photo_id=344811 Link to comment
