sense of smell

Aside from the fact that I love dogs and photos of them almost always elicit and "Awwwww" out of me, I kept coming back to look at this photo. It finally occurred to me that it's the perspective that I find so interesting. I think we get so used to looking at photos, that sometimes our brains adjust so that we don't see the obvious. Due to perspective, this pup looks half as tall as the tree behind him. That coupled with the backlighting  makes this a very pleasing photo. Nicely done!
